We all aim to live in a healthy home and it’s much more complicated than it looks. A house is by definition composed of multiple “barriers” between the outside and the interior. These barriers are: the roof, the walls, the windows, the slab, the foundations and ideally a crawl space.
Moisture in the walls of a house usually manifests itself in visible signs from the inside or outside. The first signs that should alert

• Moisture or moisture stains: usually easy to see, you should think about regularly looking behind furniture,

• Condensation: By passing your hand over the wall, it is easy to see the presence of condensation that may exist occasionally but must naturally disappear quickly,

• Cracks and/or peeling of the coatings are a favourable terrain for the development of moisture in the walls,

The detection of warning signs of moisture in the walls is within everyone’s reach, then comes the thorny problem of diagnosis.
