Installing a ventilation or dehumidifier solves my rising damp problem!

It’s FALSE: During a rising damp, water rises from the ground in the materials, the materials sweat and increases the % of moisture in the air volume of the parts of your habitat.

Installing ventilation does not solve the hair lift, which helps regulate the level of humidity present in the air. However, if you regulate the humidity, the air is no longer saturated by moisture, the materials will be able to sweat and thus release capillaries.

By releasing 10 L of water, it will lift 10 L of water into the walls. You will have promote the evaporation of walls, floors and partitions by increasing degradation, since there will be more and more water to come out of the walls.

Installing ventilation without treating the phenomenon of rising humidity, promotes the development of it.
